Valores y vectores propios ejercicios resueltos

Valores y vectores propios definicion

 \,c_T(x)=\left | xI-T \right |

\,grad c_T(x)=dim_kE

\,\left | xI-\bar{A} \right |=\left | xI-B^{-1}AB \right |=

\,=\left |xB^{-1}B-B^{-1}AB \right |=\left | B^{-1}(xI-A)B) \right |=

\,=\left | B^{-1}\left \| (xI-A) \right \| B\right |=\left | xI-A \right |

Los valores propios de T coinciden con las raices de su poliniomio caracteristico.

Demostración:

\,=\left \{ \lambda\in k : \mathrm{det}(T-\lambda I)=0 \right \}=

\,=\left \{ \lambda\in k : (-1)^n\left | \lambda I-T \right |\right \}=

\,=\left \{ \mathrm{raices }\: \mathrm{en} \: k \:\mathrm{ de} \: c_T(x)=\left | xI-T \right |\right \}

\,(a)=\begin{pmatrix}1 & 1 & -2\\ 0 & -1 & 1\\ 0 & 0 & 3\end{pmatrix}

\,(a)=\left | xI-A \right |=\begin{vmatrix}x-1& 1 & -2\\ 0 & x+1 & 1\\ 0 & 0 & x-3\end{vmatrix}=

\,=(x-1)(x+1)(x-3)\Rightarrow

\,\Rightarrow Valores propios \,:\left \{ 1,-1,3 \right \}

       Subespacios de vectores propios:

\,rg(A-I)=rg\begin{pmatrix}0& 1 & -2\\ 0 & -2 & 1\\ 0 & 0 & 2\end{pmatrix}=2

\,\Rightarrow dim_K\mathrm{ker}(T-I)=1

\,\mathrm{ker}(T-I)\equiv \left\{\begin{matrix}-2y+z&=0 \\ z&=0 \end{matrix}\right.

  • \,\mathrm{ker}(T-I)=\left \langle v_1=(1,0,0) \right \rangle

\,rg(A+I)=rg\begin{pmatrix}2& 1 & 0\\ 0 & 0 & 1\\ 0 & 0 & 4\end{pmatrix}=2

\,\Rightarrow dim_K\mathrm{ker}(T+I)=1

\,\mathrm{ker}(T+I)\equiv \left\{\begin{matrix}2x+y-2z&=0 \\ z&=0 \end{matrix}\right.

  • \,\mathrm{ker}(T+I)=\left \langle v_2=(1,-2,0) \right \rangle

\,rg(A-3I)=rg\begin{pmatrix}-2& 1 & -2\\ 0 & -4 & 1\\ 0 & 0 & 0\end{pmatrix}=2

\,\Rightarrow dim_K\mathrm{ker}(T-I)=1

\,\mathrm{ker}(T-3I)\equiv \left\{\begin{matrix}-2x+y-2z&=0 \\ -4y+z&=0 \end{matrix}\right.

  • \,\mathrm{ker}(T-3I)=\left \langle v_3=(-7,2,8) \right \rangle

Por tanto los valores propios son

\,\left \{ 1,-1,3 \right \}

y los vectores propios

\,\left \langle v_1=(1,0,0) \right \rangle , \left \langle v_2=(1,-2,0) \right \rangle , \left \langle v_3=(-7,2,8) \right \rangle

\,(b)=\begin{pmatrix}-3 & 0 & 0\\ 2 & 1 & 0\\-1 & 1 & 1\end{pmatrix}

\,(b)=\left | xI-A \right |=\begin{vmatrix}x+3& 0 & 0\\ -2 & x-1 & 0\\ 1 & -1 & x-1\end{vmatrix}=

\,=(x+3)(x-1)^2\Rightarrow

\,\Rightarrow Valores propios \,:\left \{ -3,1(doble)\right \}

       Subespacios de vectores propios:

\,rg(A+3I)=rg\begin{pmatrix}0& 0 & 0\\ 2 & 4 & 0\\ -1 & 1 & 4\end{pmatrix}=2

\,\Rightarrow dim_K\mathrm{ker}(T+3I)=1

\,\mathrm{ker}(T+3I)\equiv \left\{\begin{matrix}-2x+4y&=0 \\ -x+y+4z&=0 \end{matrix}\right.

  • \,\mathrm{ker}(T-I)=\left \langle v_1=(8,-4,3) \right \rangle

\,rg(A-I)=rg\begin{pmatrix}-4& 0 & 0\\ 2 & 0 & 0\\ -1 & 1 & 0\end{pmatrix}=2

\,\Rightarrow dim_K\mathrm{ker}(T-I)=1

\,\mathrm{ker}(T+I)\equiv \left\{\begin{matrix}2x+y-2z&=0 \\ z&=0 \end{matrix}\right.

  • \,\mathrm{ker}(T-I)=\left \langle v_2=(0,0,1) \right \rangle

Por tanto los valores propios son

\,\left \{ -3,1(doble) \right \}

y los vectores propios

\,\left \langle v_1=(8,-4,3) \right \rangle , \left \langle v_2=(0,0,1) \right \rangle
